Target's CEO profiled by Fast Company

Gregg Steinhafel doesn't give many interviews, so the Fast Company profile on the Target CEO from earlier this week is worth reading.  There's some interesting tidbits in there, both about Steinhafel's own routine (up before 4 a.m. and done with e-mail before most of his employees get out of bed) and Target's floorplan (customers seemed unwilling to walk the extra aisles to peruse clothing racks after buying food and sundries, so stores went through an expensive remodel in the early '90s to maximize browsing, which is why you'll find women's & children's apparel taking up prime real estate close to the entrance).
